This electronic switched-mode power supply is characterised by its low weight and very compact and flat design. The innovative technology eliminates the need for large, heavy transformers. The input voltage range of 100 - 240 V AC means it can be used in all European countries as well as in the USA and Japan. The power supply is particularly suitable for use with chargers. The stacking system makes it possible to wire multiple mains PSUs in parallel in order to increase the total output power. The ULTRA DUO PLUS 45 can also be placed on top of the mains PSU and connected directly to it. The switched-mode power supply can deliver very high charging currents, and is therefore ideal for the ULTRA DUO PLUS 45 and also the ULTRA DUO PLUS 60. For the ULTRA DUO PLUS 60 a single mains PSU can be employed to provide a charge power of 300 W; alternatively two mains PSUs can be wired in parallel for maximum charge power. Two further output sockets are provided for the use of additional consumer units.
